Procedural style dateformat ( DateTimeInterface object, string format ): string Returns date formatted according to given format. Example: 654321: v: Milliseconds (added in PHP 7.0.0). Note that date() will always generate 000000 since it takes an int parameter, whereas DateTime::format() does support microseconds if DateTime was created with microseconds. The date() function obtains the current date and time as a formatted string. Seconds with leading zeros: 00 through 59: u: Microseconds. You can use the date() function or the DateTime class.
